I have just finished my V-Cense Revitalising night cream by Ren, an anti-age night cream made with ingredients of plant origin.
It’s a cream with a not-too-greasy consistency that, according to its commercials, is able to prevent small wrinkles and can hydrate and revitalize the skin of our face.
In a nutshell, it is supposed to fight against ageing.
Who should use it
V-Cense Revitalising night cream by Ren is designed to prevent wrinkles. It can be used on regular skin as well as on sensitive skins. Quite evidently, it is not aimed at young skins, being an anti-ageing. In my opinion, it is as well not suitable for mature or extremely dehydrated skins, where it might just not be enough, due to its light texture.
I would recommend it to people ranging between 30 and 50 years old, which is still quite a wide range.
This cream is characterized by the absence of parabens, silicones and sulfates. Among its ingredients, we have emollients and herbal extracts.
In particular, we can find the Boswellia Carterii, which is nothing else than the scientific latin name of incense, hence the cream name and peculiar scent.
Alongside with the Boswellia Carterii comes the Boswellia serrate, another type of incense known for its anti-inflammatory capabilities.

My test results
I have been using V-Cense Revitalising night cream by Ren for 4 months, with satisfactory outcomes.
I have used it every evening, after a careful skin cleansing. After a while, I could notice some improvements, particularly in the morning, when my skin had a smoother, relaxed and well hydrated look.
In particular, gone were those cases of skin redness that can be typical in the morning and my skin looked like it had experienced a soothing treatment.
During the first few days, as I was used to using creams with a stronger feel, I had the impression this particular cream may be to light and that it had a tendency to dry up too quickly.
I started to have some doubts and I was wondering whether I had purchased the right cream.
But after a couple of weeks I actually started to notice its benefits, even compared to other creams that used to give me a better initial feeling, possibly because of their greasier texture.
Even if the anti-age promise remains, well… a promise, as my wrinkles have not retreated, on the contrary, they become more pronounced day after day, I can state that V-Cense Revitalising night cream by Ren is the most effective night cream I have ever used.
After four consecutive months of using it, the result is a smoother skin, no redness and an overall more hydrated look.
